Inauguration of New Ekvira Agricultural Service Center and Workshop on Pomegranate and Onion Management by Dalimratna B.T. Gore Sir

On December 7, 2024, the inauguration of the New Ekvira Agricultural Service Center took place with great enthusiasm in Kotbel, Baglan Taluka, Nashik District. To mark the occasion, a special agricultural workshop was organized under the expert guidance of Dalimratna B.T. Gore Sir. The workshop aimed to promote advanced farming techniques and practices for pomegranate and onion cultivation, with a focus on enhancing productivity and profitability for farmers.

The workshop covered several crucial aspects of pomegranate and onion farming:
- Pomegranate Cultivation: Topics included Bahar (fruiting management), bacterial blight disease, wilt disease, pest control, and effective water, nutrient, and weed management.
- Onion Farming: Discussions focused on modern techniques for preparing nurseries using machinery, methods for transplanting, strategies to achieve a yield of 30 tons per acre, and disease and nutrient management.

The workshop was designed for farmers and individuals interested in advancing and improving their agricultural practices. A large number of farmers participated, gaining valuable insights and motivation to adopt innovative techniques. Gore Sir inspired attendees by sharing knowledge about cutting-edge agricultural tools and methods. -
